Forgotten taxidermy
in contemporary compositions

Preserved for eternity, but often forgotten in dusty museum storage chambers, these taxidermy animals have been given yet another life. Though sometimes dusty and crooked, their natural beauty is astonishing. In my compositions I unveil their splendor once more.

WUNDERKAMMER is entirely created with objects from the taxidermy collection of the Natural History Museum in Magdeburg.

Next to the pictures of the Wunderkammer collection, I made a lot of beautiful animal portraits. They were not put in the official selection, but some can be viewed here.

I also made quite a few feather close-ups. I find their variety in color and pattern fascinating, so I wanted to share them with you as well.
